ROGER HIBBS

This is my coach. Like many of you that played under "Coach" Roger Hibbs, I have a great memory of the coach and the man. Although I know he would agree that, like any of us, he isn't perfect, he has no doubt had a big impact on our lives and the community of Crossville. He is perhaps the most loved coach in Crossville Football History. The lessons he taught us about life have far exceeded those taught to us about the game of football. He was a man with integrity and class. He lived by the word of faith. He taught us our priorities in life should be GOD, family, job/school and football. I thank him for standing for those things. He taught us the true meaning of class. He lived it.

Roger is a high school graduate of Sardis High School. He attended Jacksonville State University. Before coming to Crossville in 1983, Coach Hibbs was an assistant at Etowah High School in Attalla. Since leaving Crossville after the 1988 season, he has coached at Southside and at Pell City. He is currently Principal in Chattooga High School in GA.

Thank you for all the memories that we all have in our hearts coach. We love you and miss you. To most of us you will still always be.....coach.
