1987 was a great year for a team that returned only 3 starters. This team would show what heart was all about. Most of the team would letter, if not all. There was something awesome about this defense. Truly one of the forgotten great defenses. I would like to thank all my teammates for the hard work and dedication. We had the privilege of  not suffering a defeat at home ( 22-0) . We have nothing to be ashamed of.  The Seniors for 1987 would finish with an incredible 39-3 record and win the crown just one year prior.

Even though we failed to retain the crown, we had it for longer than most ever have it to start with. I can't say that we were the best, just better than most.

Thanks guys.
