1982 brings Crossville not only the Area and County Championship, but only the second 10-0 regular season up to that point. The other being in 1961. A heartbreaking playoff loss again to Stevenson would end the otherwise very successful season. Payback time was waiting for Stevenson just a few years down the road.

This team very well may have been the most talented team in it's history. Loaded. We could only wonder how far this team could have made it had it got past Stevenson.

Mike Bobo would finish the season with 182 carries and 1,299 yards for a very impressive 7.13 yards per carry average. Mike is widely regarded as one of the Top 10 Players to ever play at Crossville. He would see  playing time at Alabama.
