                                                  1976 was the Golden 50th Anniversary season.

The 1976 season was marked by some close games that resulted in just a 4-6 record. The effort was there. Some of the talent that the Lions had relied on for the past several years was now gone. Crossville's biggest margin of victory during the 76 season was against Pisgah in a 44-0 crushing of the Eagles. The biggest margin of defeat was only 14 points.
