CROSSVILLE STAYS UNDEFEATED, 13-6
Crossville- The Crossville Lions dropped the Valley Head Tigers, 13-6, Friday night in a game by both teams fighting to remain unbeaten.
Halfback Mancel Norris counted the first Lion tally on a 59-yard gallop in the initial period.
In the third quarter Tiger Halfback Morgan climaxed an 85-yard drive with a two yard plunge to knot the score at 6-6.
John Cochran plunged two yard in the closing seconds to ice the victory for the Lions. Don Israel sneaked in the extra point.
