The Crossville Lions of 1931 finished the season with a 6-6 record.
This is the only time in school history that more than 10 games were ever attempted.
It marked the first of four seasons in which the Lions played their rival Geraldine twice.
Both games were at Crossville as the Lions won them both. Valley Head would wind up the
Dekalb Co. Champion. The lions would have to settle for runner up. That would change however,
as the next 3 would be all to Crossville.
